It’s April and It’s Still Snowy. #ENG1D #ENG4C #NBV3E

Hello, Everyone!

Sorry – I missed doing some updates to the site. Things have been incredibly busy. I figured an update was important because midterms are being prepared in two weeks. That means if you’re a student missing assignments now would be a good time to get caught up. This is especially key if you’re a potential grad!

ENG1D students are going to begin The Chrysalids novel study this week. Students might benefit from checking out The Chrysalids Wikipedia Page. Students are expected to have their Poetry Books completed on Monday, April 7. Pretty excited to see final results. Will post some!

ENG4C students are just about to finish Crow Lake. The novel took some work for people to get through but most found it interesting, (even if the end was the only part they enjoyed). Students also did a good job working with argumentative essays in the last few weeks. Second revisions have mostly been handed in. Great work. Next up: Business English.

NBV3E students have been spending some time focusing on relationships. This includes the Seven Teachings of the Grandfathers, the Medicine Wheel, and natural resources. Next week, students will finally begin checking out Tomson Highway’s play The Rez Sisters. It’s one of my favourite units and I’m hoping students this semester enjoy it, too.

I have quite a few assignments and lessons to add to the site, which I will endeavour to do in the next few days. In the meantime, please contact me if you have questions about any assignments or your success in your class.

Have a wonderful week, everyone.
