Paragraphs and Outlines – #ENG1D

Today, Grade 9 students were introduced to expanding their writing using a model I call Point-Support-Explain:

Students use the information above to ensure that their paragraphs remain organized and informative. Students then used my ““11 Sentence Paragraph Outline” – with slight modifications – to start responding to the following topic:

Is it beneficial to have grade 9s divided into academic, applied, and essential levels for their classes?

We’ll see how they do!
