I am new to teaching ENG3U and am curious as to what other teachers like yourself are teaching. If I can learn from something great from a colleague that will also inspire my students, then I have no shame; I’ll use it! But, I will also give credit. At my school in Toronto, we are teaching the novel, “The Cellist of Sarajevo,” by Canadian author, Stephen Galloway, as well as “Macbeth” and a variety of poetry. Media units are far too loose and I don’t want to reteach what students learned about it, in grades 9 and 10. I’ve never found a website format that didn’t demand more time than my students, but so far I love yours and your passion for teaching really shines through!
