Welcome to WilsonTeacher.ca. Originally, this site was conceived to provide students and parents with lesson materials and class information. It then evolved into a place for me to share materials with other teachers and share my thoughts on my classes. Although all of the lesson and class material is still accessible, the site now functions as a reflective blog for my journey into school leadership. I look forward to sharing my experiences, reflecting on my practice, and engaging in discussion with others!

You will also find a menu for the various sections of the website. On a mobile device, the menu may be hidden under a menu icon, while on regular devices, the menu is above. Hover over it and it will expand. Check out the different sections.

Have a great day!

Final Day of Semester One

Today is the final day of regular classes for semester one. It’s been a great semester getting to know all of the new GCHS Grade 9 students in Visual Arts. It has also been great learning about the culture of indigenous people in Canada and celebrating the awesomeness of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit peoples in Canada. Hey, I learned to bead this semester and that’s really cool.

There are no exams for my courses this semester but it is important that students check with me to ensure all assignments are submitted In NAC2O – Grade 10 Native Studies, there is a culminating assignment worth 30%. Students should have this done today as they were given over a week of in-class time to complete it.

Best wishes to my students as they head off to semester two! Only five months until summer! 🙂 🙂
